Walkers for Johnny Boy

We’re making the impossible, possible, by taking part in Australia's Walk & Jog Challenge to raise much needed funds for dementia research.

We are walking for dementia in honour of my late father John "Johnny Boy". 

Sadly in December 2025 my dad lost his battle to dementia, alongside a list of other health issues. 

He was the best dad, had the best stories - you could spend all day just listen to him talk about the good old days but wouldnt always remember you name or something that happened yesterday. He loved a beer, the western bulldogs and country music - dolly parton especially! "She was a looker, not a bad sort" he would say.

My fundraising will help support the work of Dementia Australia Research Foundation, funding innovative Australian research into dementia causes, diagnosis, treatment and one day a cure.
