As I watch the dementia journey affect our family in so many different ways I’ll continue to do my best to educate myself. Look after my dad who is doing an incredible job caring for mum all well trying to ensure mum has everything she needs to find the joy in every day.Week 1 let’s go!
The goal for this week is 20km!!! Omg! Can’t believe I’m even saying these words 😂
This week the goal is to take my memories back to my pre teen days and remember all the sacrifices mum made for me. So many big emotions over the past few weeks, just trying to focus on staying present, positive & calm as we navigate the next steps.
