My Why

Very close to my heart; my young mum has early onset Alzheimer’s and this disease is cruel, unpredictable, and we don’t know the trajectory of what the future holds for her or for our family.


That’s why I’m taking part in the Dementia Australia 44km Challenge this May, walking/running 44km to raise vital funds for research, care, and support; not just for my mum, but for my children, so they can have their nanny for as long as possible.


I know times are tough, and I know everyone is feeling it. It doesn’t have to be a huge donation; but could you sacrifice your $5 coffee this week and donate it instead? I challenge you.


Every dollar, every kilometre, and every bit of support means more than you know.
