Day 1

Im doing this for my dad. He was recently diagnosed and in the early stages. Its not hereditary as his parents lived into their 90s physically and mentally fit. They say its due to loneliness,  depression and just not doing the things you used to into your later years due to body soreness etc or in my dads case heart issues.  The reason is still unknown and a cure nowhere in sight just medication to delay the inevitable.  
I dont want my dad to forget me, my sisters, my mum or my kids. I dont want him to be unable to do the things he wants to do. I want him to be the dad exactly as he was forever.  If we can find a cure or at least the why? We can work to prevent it. I pray every day that no one has to go through this and that I will never have to go through this.
I will do my kms thinking of him every step of the way knowing I could make a difference for future sufferers.

I'm making the impossible, possible, by taking part in Australia's Walk & Jog Challenge to raise much needed funds for dementia research.
