Walking for my Mum

I’m walking in honour of my mum, who was taken far too soon in a way no one should ever have to endure. Dementia doesn’t discriminate—it can touch anyone, at any time—and that’s why finding a cure matters so deeply. Every step I take is for her, and for all the families who have felt this loss.

My mum was the most selfless, kind, and generous soul. She had a way of making everyone feel seen and loved, you could see her glow, she was truly radiant, and her warmth stayed with you long after you met her. She was an angel in every sense, and to know her was to love her.
