From May 4th-17th I’m taking part in Australia’s 44km Walk & Jog Challenge in support of people impacted by dementia.
For two weeks in May I will be taking part in Australia's Walk & Jog Challenge 👟 which is committed to raising funds to support people impacted by dementia.
My favourite person in the world, my mum Catherine, was diagnosed with early onset Alzheimer’s when she was 59. Watching this disease slowly take her away from me and my dad has been nothing short of heartbreaking and something I wouldn’t wish on anyone.
These days mum has lost almost all understanding and memory of her life, but I choose to remember for the both of us - always. If you have any memories of time with my mum I’d always love to hear them, no matter now small or how long ago. Please don’t hesitate to share them with me 🌸
