I’m walking to support people living with dementia and their families—because everyone deserves dignity, connection, and the chance to live well for longer

I’m taking part in a charity walk to raise funds and awareness for dementia—something that’s becoming more and more important to me both personally and professionally.

Working in rehabilitation, I see firsthand how conditions like dementia impact not just the individual, but their families, independence, and everyday life. It’s not just about memory—it’s about identity, connection, and dignity.

This walk is my way of doing something small that contributes to something much bigger. Supporting research, improving care, and helping people live well for longer.

If you’re able to donate or share, I’d be so grateful. And if nothing else, it’s a good reminder to look after our brains, our bodies, and each other
