I’m taking part in Australia’s Walk & Jog Challenge to support someone very close to my heart — my mum, who has been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease.

Watching someone you love face dementia is heartbreaking, and it often feels impossible. By committing to this challenge, I’m turning that feeling into action and helping to make the impossible feel possible.

From 4 May to 17 May, I’ll be attempting to walk a total of 44 kilometres as part of the challenge, and I’m inviting you to join me in making a difference for families impacted by dementia.

I’m raising much‑needed funds to support people and families living with dementia, and I would be so grateful for your support. Every donation, no matter the size, helps.

The funds I raise will support the work of the Dementia Australia Research Foundation, funding innovative Australian research into the causes of dementia, earlier diagnosis, better treatments, and one day, a cure.
