Made It!
OI'm making the impossible, possible, by taking part in Australia's Walk & Jog Challenge to raise much needed funds for dementia research.
Dementia is now the leading cause of death in Australia. This disease has personally touched the lives of many of my family members, including my Grandmother, Grandfather and 5 months ago we lost my incredible Dad to Alzheimers with Progressive Logopenic Aphasia. We don't know what the future will bring, but with Dementia affecting so many as well as their carers, family members and friends who must endure the decline also, it's vital that we work towards better diagnosis, management and eventually, a cure.
I’m taking part in Australia's Walk & Jog Challenge by committing to raise much needed funds to support people impacted by dementia.
But I need your help! Please make a donation to support my efforts and help me to make the impossible, possible.
My fundraising will help support the work of Dementia Australia Research Foundation, funding innovative Australian research into dementia causes, diagnosis, treatment and one day a cure.
Thank you for your support.

I’m proud of you, Renee. Thank you for doing this in memory of your wonderful, loving Dad. We all miss him soooo much and would have cherished every day of having him here with us longer. This disease took decades off his life and it takes decades off so many other lives too. Every advance towards preventing or curing dementia could help people from experiencing the years of heartbreak, confusion, suffering and painful, slow death that often comes with this horrible disease. I am very thankful for you, Renee, helping to raise funds to support those who work so hard in searching for answers to stop dementia … in all its forms … from ruining and shortening more lives.
