Why I’ve signed up to something with ‘Jog’ in the title ..

Look… if you know me, you know I don’t jog.

So the fact I’ve signed up for the Dementia Australia Impossible Walk & Jog should tell you everything you need to know about how important this is to me.

My siblings and I have teamed up as the Collins Crew 💛

As most of you know, Mum has frontotemporal dementia (FTD). And honestly, it’s brutal. 

Dementia is about the only thing that could make me willingly participate in anything remotely jog-adjacent.

We’re doing this for Mum.
For families going through this.
And to support better research and awareness, because this disease just takes too much.

If you want to support us or follow along, it means a lot. We want to raise awareness (and hopefully a few bucks) for Dementia Australia who have been a supportive resource since day 1 of Mums diagnosis. 

I'm making the impossible, possible, by taking part in Australia's Walk & Jog Challenge to raise much needed funds for dementia research.
